Product Description

Parfums de Marly Althaïr Eau de Parfum is a sophisticated masculine fragrance inspired by the tradition of French haute parfumerie. Built around luxurious Bourbon vanilla, it combines bright citrus, warm spices and noble woods to create a refined balance of freshness, sweetness and warmth.

The opening blends orange blossom absolute and Italian bergamot with Ceylon cinnamon and Guatemalan cardamom, creating a bright yet warmly spiced introduction. The heart highlights rich Madagascar Bourbon vanilla and elemi, while the base settles into ambrox, guaiac wood praline and musk for a smooth, creamy and elegant finish.

About the Fragrance

Althaïr offers a modern interpretation of the woody-vanilla-amber fragrance family. Its signature Bourbon vanilla creates a rich and inviting sweetness, while citrus and spices add freshness and energy.

Cinnamon and cardamom bring warmth and sophistication, balanced by the aromatic quality of elemi. In the dry-down, ambrox, guaiac wood praline and musk create a smooth, woody and subtly gourmand trail.

The fragrance was developed through a collaboration between Julien Sprecher, Hamid Merati-Kashani and Ilias Ermenidis, combining traditional French perfumery artistry with a contemporary and distinctive approach.

Althaïr is an excellent choice for evening wear, dates, special occasions, formal events and cooler weather, while its fresh opening also makes it versatile enough for daytime wear.
